Tianyun Gao studied Electrical Engineering, Alternative Energy, Distributed Systems, and Network Security at the University of Bridgeport from 2008 to 2010, where she kept up a stellar 3.62 grade point average and won the Graduate Assistant Award in 2008. She is currently a business system analyst who has worked at Cloudeeva, an Information Technology company in New Jersey, since the spring of 2013.
As a business systems analyst, Tianyun Gao helps Cloudeeva implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way, by determining the requirements of a project or a program and communicating those requirements to everyone involved. As she knows, business system analysts must be skilled in business, marketing, and accounting, in addition to computer technology.
Tianyun Gao has a degree from the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where she studied Electrical Engineering, Alternative Energy, Distributed Systems, and Network Security. She was a member of a team that took sixth place in the National Hydrogen Student Design contest in 2008-2009. The Hydrogen Student Design Contest challenges multi-disciplinary teams of university students to apply their creativity and academic skills in the areas of design, engineering, economics, environmental science, business and marketing to the hydrogen and fuel cell industries.
Tianyun Gao also studied at Jilin University in China. Jilin University is one of the country’s most prestigious universities. Jilin University has several research projects in automobile engineering, chemistry, computer science, electrical engineering and biology. The University provides undergraduate and graduate programs in law, literature, philosophy, medicine and veterinary science. It is one of the key universities involved in China’s Project 985, Project 211 and Project 2011.
